November 9 Countdown: Martin Staszko

Today we present the player who lacked this recall of nine finalists for the Main Event World Series of Poker, Czech Martin Staszko which will go to the final table in the lead with 40,175,000 chips.

When the bubble for the money and according to Erick Lindgren, Staszko folded 40 hands in a row at a time when it only had 12,000 chips. By guaranteeing a final table Staszko becomes the 4th Czech player with more live tournament winnings.

Martin worked in the paint shop in a car factory, before deciding through professional poker player, who embraced for nearly a year.

His decision was rewarded with a 11th place finish in the EPT Deauville 2010, for which he received 35,000. Online earlier this year won Event # 5 Spring Championship of Online Poker PokerStars (prize of $ 91,539).

The first player from the Czech Republic to reach the final table of the Main Event is also a competent player of chess.
